Gary Henderson, CEO of activpayroll, has been named in Reward Strategy’s inaugural Partner 75, recognising influential leaders supporting and shaping the future of the pay, reward and global workforce profession.
The recognition highlights individuals driving meaningful change across the industry through innovation, expertise and long-term contribution to the profession. For activpayroll, it reflects the growing strategic importance of global payroll, workforce compliance and international mobility in helping organisations manage increasingly complex and geographically dispersed workforces.
Since joining activpayroll in 2013, Gary has progressed through a range of operational and senior leadership roles, including Chief Operations Officer, before becoming CEO. His experience across the business has helped shape activpayroll’s approach to delivering global payroll, mobility, HR and payments services — combining operational expertise, technology and long-term client partnership.
As organisations continue to navigate workforce transformation, evolving employment legislation and increasing compliance expectations across multiple jurisdictions, the role of trusted payroll and workforce partners has become increasingly strategic. Gary’s inclusion in the Partner 75 reflects both his leadership within the industry and activpayroll’s continued focus on helping organisations operate globally with confidence.
The Partner 75 was officially announced at the Reward Strategy Summer Reception in London on 9 July 2025, bringing together leaders from across payroll, HR and reward.
Commenting on the recognition, Gary Henderson said:
“It’s a privilege to be recognised alongside so many respected individuals across the profession. Organisations today are operating in an increasingly global, complex and fast-moving environment, and payroll, mobility and workforce compliance play a critical role in supporting international growth and business success.
“This recognition also reflects the expertise and commitment of the wider activpayroll team. Our focus continues to be on combining specialist knowledge, strong client relationships and the right technology to help organisations manage global workforces confidently and compliantly.”
The recognition comes during activpayroll’s 25th year in business, marking another milestone in the company’s continued development as a trusted global provider of payroll and workforce solutions.
