In February, we hosted the latest activpayroll Customer Advisory Group (CAG). The name reflects the purpose at the heart of CAG and the objectives we believe the group is there to achieve:

  • Building a community within our customers
  • Building advocacy and relationships across the group
  • Gaining valuable guidance on the outcomes that matter most

The group represented a broad cross-section of our customer base and spent three productive hours with us exploring a focused agenda centred on these three principles – Community, Advocacy and Guidance.

A collaborative and insightful agenda

Our discussions explored how emerging technologies, including AI, can deliver meaningful improvements in global payroll. We examined where innovation has the greatest potential to enhance accuracy, insight and efficiency, while recognising that in such a sensitive and highly regulated area, expert human oversight remains essential.

We also considered how activpayroll can support customers in managing the increasing complexity associated with Global Mobility and HR. While we anticipated a strong focus on technology applications, it was particularly encouraging to see genuine interest in the broader strategic and operational support our Mobility and HR services provide.

In addition, we reviewed the activ8 platform roadmap, discussing upcoming developments and timelines in greater detail and inviting open feedback from the group.

Engagement that drives progress

As is evident across the market, organisations procuring Global Payroll and Mobility services are increasingly embracing the opportunities AI can unlock within their own businesses. However, global payroll presents distinct operational and compliance challenges. The consensus was clear: technology should enable deeper insight and improved productivity, but always with experienced professionals guiding and validating outcomes.

As always, the quality of engagement made the session especially valuable. Participants shared practical experiences, asked insightful questions and provided input that will directly inform our priorities.

Did we achieve our objectives?

We believe we did.

  • The group shared experiences and learned from one another in a genuinely collaborative environment.
  • There was strong interest in growing payroll services with activpayroll, alongside enthusiasm for expanding into Mobility services.
  • We gained meaningful guidance on the outcomes that matter most in Global Payroll and Mobility, helping to shape our future direction.

It is always amazing to share that amount of time with a collective group of such engaged customers. We look forward to building on this momentum later in the year and continuing to share further insights and developments with our wider community.

By scaling, streamlining, or ensuring your people are taken care of, we bring absolute clarity to your global business.
