On Sunday 17th February, the Singapore activpayroll team joined over 6,000 people from various walks of life to take part in Run for Hope Singapore 2019.

Run for Hope, now in its 26th year, is an annual non-competitive event organised by the Four Seasons Hotel Singapore and the National Cancer Centre Singapore to raise awareness and support for cancer research.

It was an early start for the team as the run started at 7.00am and took place at the Singapore Sports Hub, OCBC Square. Senior Minister of State for Law and Health Edwin Tong flagged off the race as the participants, which included cancer survivors, their family members and even runners as young as 10 years old, completed the 3.5km route.

Berliza Laurente, Payroll Operations Manager – APAC commented: “Run for Hope was a great way to raise money for cancer research while doing something fun as a team and keeping fit. This is the first time we have taken part in the event and look forward to making it an annual event for activpayroll Singapore.”

If you would like to support the team and the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS), a fundraising page will soon be available.
