    Andy Martin is Head of Business Development at activpayroll, where he leads global sales efforts and helps organisations understand how activpayroll’s solutions can support their payroll and workforce challenges. With a strong background across technology, software development, customer service, and payroll, Andy brings a unique blend of commercial and technical expertise to helping clients find the right solutions.

    Business Development Leadership

    Andy leads activpayroll’s global Business Development function, working with organisations to understand their requirements and identify solutions that deliver long-term value. His approach is centred on building strong partnerships with customers, focusing on collaboration and trust rather than a traditional supplier relationship.

    Technology and Product Expertise

    Prior to moving into Business Development in 2019, Andy spent almost a decade as Chief Technology Officer at activpayroll, where he led the Product and Technology teams and played a key role in the development and delivery of activ8. This experience provides him with a deep understanding of the technology, platforms, and solutions that support activpayroll’s services.

    Andy works closely with teams across Partnership Management, Product, Technology, and Operations to ensure client conversations are aligned with service delivery capabilities. He also uses customer feedback and market insight to support continuous improvement and inform future product development.
