On 8th November 2021, Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia, announced an increase in the minimum wages of unskilled, semi-skilled and skilled labourers. Sisodia stated that the minimum wage has gone up due to the Dearness Allowance increasing.
