India: Delhi Minimum Wage Increase

On 8th November 2021, Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia, announced an increase in the minimum wages of unskilled, semi-skilled and skilled labourers. Sisodia stated that the minimum wage has gone up due to the Dearness Allowance increasing.

The new wages, effective from 1st October 2021, can be found in the table below.
