activpayroll would like to provide customers and partners with an update on the situation in China and assure that operations have not been affected.

As you may have noticed in the media in the past weeks, multiple areas in mainland China are being affected by the outbreak of the Wuhan Acute Respiratory Syndrome (called “WARS”). To reduce the spread of the disease, the China Central Government has announced the extension of the Chinese New Year holiday for 1 extra week to 9th February 2020.

We are committed to keeping our customers and partners across the globe informed, hence we can confirm that none of our team members or their families are affected or diagnosed with this disease and therefore, there is no risk to our current operations. We are also asking our team members to take extra hygiene measures to protect themselves and others.

To better support the business, we have arranged for some of our key personnel in China to work from home and take precautions. In addition to this, the Taiwan office will also act as a backup for the China and Hong Kong hubs in case there are any emergencies.

We can assure that everyone in the activpayroll team is doing their absolute best to support our customers and partners, ensuring smooth operations continue and no disruption to the service.

Due to China’s holiday extension, we kindly advise our customers to be patient in the eventuality of slight delays. If you have any questions, concerns or require special attention, please contact our Payroll Operations Manager APACBerliza Laurente on +65 6351 9624 or at Berliza.laurente@activpayroll.com .

By scaling, streamlining, or ensuring your people are taken care of, we bring absolute clarity to your global business.
