Established over 150 years ago, Cambridge Assessment operates and manages the University's three exam boards and carries out leading-edge academic and operational research on assessment in education.

The challenges:

Prior to engaging activpayroll, Cambridge Assessment utilised individual payroll providers for each of their 20+ countries of operation, with each location responsible for their own processes and controls in relation to payroll. This disparate approach accentuated the specific elements of each location, ultimately resulting in differing levels of quality and consistency from each country back to Cambridge Assessment’s head office.
