2017 saw activpayroll take on a host of challenges for four deserving charities: Maggie’s, Friends of ANCHOR, SAMH and Children 1st.
After the success of #activAlison in 2016, it was time for the team to take on some new challenges. Our Aberdeen HQ and Edinburgh office participated in various activities throughout the year to raise vital funds for causes close to our hearts. Events, to name just a few, included the Aberdeen & Edinburgh Kilt Walk, Culture Crawl, ANCHOR Wipeout, Ride the North and Loch Ness Marathon.
A generous Easter egg donation was made to Children 1st to help brighten up Easter for the less fortunate.
Our Aberdeen & Edinburgh offices held an Easter bake sale in aid of Maggie’s.
On Saturday 22nd April, three of the girls from our Aberdeen office took on the Balmoral 10K in aid of Maggie's.
Donate nowWe will be taking part in a dress down week during Mental Health Awareness Week in order to raise awareness and funds for SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health).
For the second year in a row, the Aberdeen team will take on the 26 mile Kilt Walk! This year we will be walking in aid of Children 1st.
Donate nowThe Aberdeen team will be taking part in the 2017 Maggie's Culture Crawl. The Culture Crawl is a part 10-mile night-walk, part cultural adventure, with exclusive access to amazing buildings.

Two teams from activpayroll will battle it out in the ANCHOR Wipeout, taking on 71 teams to compete in a giant inflatable course for the chance to be crowned ANCHOR Wipeout Champions. All funds raised for this event will go to Friends of ANCHOR.
Donate nowAfter the success of Alison's Vietnam to Cambodia cycle in 2016, she will once again be raising funds for Women V Cancer, cycling 103 miles in just one day across Yorkshire.
Six team members from our Aberdeen office will be taking on Ride the North in aid of Maggie’s. RtN is a two day cycling event covering up to 175 miles across the foothills of the Grampian Highlands.

Setting off from Murrayfield stadium on Sunday 17th September, our Edinburgh office will take on the Kilt Walk in aid of SAMH.
Donate nowTwo of our Aberdeen runners will be taking part in the Loch Ness Marathon in aid of Children 1st. The 26 mile run takes place in the beautiful Highland scenery, along the shores of Loch Ness.

This Christmas, we will be asking our offices to kindly donate gifts to Children 1st. We want to ensure that no child ever goes without a Christmas present.
