CEO of activpayroll, Alison Sellar, took home the Female Business Leader of the Year Award at the Scottish Business Awards, while activpayroll won Best Company to Work for in Payroll at the Payroll World Awards.
The Scottish Business Awards, which took place at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, recognised and awarded a host of Scottish business leaders. Hollywood sensation, George Clooney, kicked off the evening by addressing an audience of over 2000, before sitting down to enjoy the ceremony with some other famous faces.
The Female Business Leader of the Year Award was presented to Alison by Rob Brydon, Judy Murray and Chris Evans for her exceptional commitment to continually strengthening her team of payroll experts at activpayroll and for encouraging fellow female entrepreneurs to follow their vision.
On the same evening at the Payroll World Awards in London, activpayroll won Best Company to Work for in Payroll. This accolade was awarded to activpayroll for its employee engagement initiatives, high satisfaction levels and the recent launch of the first in-house payroll training academy in Scotland.
