Workday has been taking significant steps to enhance payroll capability and value for its global customer base for many years. At activpayroll, we’re delighted to share that we are working closely with Workday to support these advancements and extend new integration options to our customers.
In addition to Workday’s well-established PECI integrations, a new “on-demand” integration, Global Payroll Connect (GPC), has now launched. GPC introduces five powerful connectors, each designed to streamline processes, increase visibility, and reduce manual effort for payroll teams worldwide.
GPC includes:
The Workday approved PECI connectors are still available and continue to deliver great value in the payroll process, but this new payroll integration evolution from Workday brings a new approach, option and benefits for customers.
Within the GPC suite, we see particularly strong potential in Data Changes on Demand and Additional Payroll Data. These connectors offer major opportunities to minimise payroll errors, reduce missed or incomplete data, and support a smoother, more streamlined payroll cycle. For global organisations managing complex requirements across multiple jurisdictions, the benefits are especially significant.
Our team has already partnered with Workday to establish the foundations needed to deliver the full GPC offering. We are also collaborating with several members of our Customer Advisory Group who use Workday and are eager to be among the first adopters of these new capabilities.
From an activ8 Integration Roadmap perspective, we anticipate the first customers using GPC connectors in 2026, and we look forward to sharing more updates as we progress towards this important milestone.
If you would like further details on our Workday GPC plans or how these connectors could benefit your organisation, please reach out to your activpayroll Customer Success Manager or your Payroll team.
