The Tax Practitioners Board
The Tax Practitioners Board was formed in 2010 to regulate the competencies of tax practitioners in Australia. This includes compliance with the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 and the Code of Professional Conduct. As a registered BAS agent, activpayroll is fully accredited to advise on and ascertain clients obligations under a BAS provision, including but not limited to the PAYG and Superannuation Guarantee system.

SOC for Service Organisations
SOC 1 for Service Organisations reports on the suitability and effectiveness of controls implemented in relation to the services provided to its users. SOC 1 Type 2 audits are carried out by an independent CPA in accordance with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Attestation Standards Section 320, Reporting on an Examination of Controls at a Service Organization Relevant to User Entities’ Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (AT-C 320) and with the International Standard on Assurance Engagements (ISAE) No. 3402.
