2018 saw activpayoll take part in a range of events and challenges to raise vital funds for Maggie's, Friends of Anchor, Charlie House and Sands Lothians.
We are dedicated not only to meeting the needs of our customers, but giving back to those in the communities in which we operate. Our Aberdeen and Edinburgh offices took part in a range of events in 2018, some we’d tackled before and some that were new for 2018! Events included Maggie’s Culture Crawl, Glack Attack, a tandem skydive, an abseil and many more.
On 10th March, we organised the first Maggie's Fizz Afternoon at the Maggie's Centre in Aberdeen. Over 100 women attended the event aimed to raise vital funds for the charity while providing a fun filled afternoon.
Our Aberdeen team will be supporting Charlie House by sponsoring their Easter Workshop and donating Easter eggs. Our Edinburgh team will donating flower bulbs, seeds and pot plants to Sands Lothians to give hope for growth and happier days ahead to bereaved families.
On Sunday 3rd June, our UK Implementation Team Lead will jump out of a plane, 10,000 feet in the air and take part in a Tandem SKYDIVE for Sands Lothians! Her goal is to raise as much money and awareness for the wonderful charity that supports bereaved parents like herself.

Donate nowOur CEO Alison will be taking on the Yorkshire Lass CC Sportive 2018, a 100 mile cycle in aid of Breast Cancer Care, Ovarian Cancer Action and Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust.
The activpayroll team will battle it out in the ANCHOR Wipeout, taking on a giant inflatable course for the chance to be crowned ANCHOR Wipeout Champions. All funds raised for this event will go to Friends of ANCHOR.
Donate nowTeam members from our Aberdeen office will be taking on Ride the North in aid of Maggie’s. RtN is a two day cycling event covering up to 175 miles across the foothills of the Grampian Highlands.

On Sunday 16th September, Debbie and Simon from our Edinburgh office will be taking part in the 15.5 mile Edinburgh Kiltwalk in aid of Sands Lothians.

Donate nowOn Saturday 27th October our Aberdeen team will take on Glack Attack, a 5km course that involves running, crawling and paddling in the mud to get over the finish line! All funds will go to Friends of Anchor.

On Wednesday 31st October we will be holding a Halloween themed bake sale to support our chosen charities.
Two of our team members from Edinburgh are set to go on the enchanting journey of light and sound at the Supernova 5k Run at the iconic Kelpies in aid of Sands Lothians.
