PRIMARY FUNCTION

Responsible for compliance, statutory and management reporting for a number of activpayroll’s subsidiaries.

Responsible for a proportion of the monthly Group Management reporting.

To modernise and improve the Purchase cycles of the Group.

Suggest, agree and implement process improvements to increase efficiency as the Group continues to grow.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Principal Duties

  • To take overall responsibility for a number of subsidiaries of the company, to ensure compliance in the relevant country
  • To improve aspects of the purchasing cycle, both in terms of efficiency, completeness and transparency as well as the tracking of cost of sales items
  •  Systems – to continuously improve the processes of the department’s Microsoft Dynamics NAV financial and other business systems
  • Income maximisation – to help implement processes and systems to ensure that all costs are correctly captured and invoiced
  • Management information – to design and develop suites of management information to ensure strong internal controls, completeness of the business cycles and to aid business decisions

Service Excellence 

  • Responding efficiently to all queries from customers and suppliers via telephone and email
  • Ensure that any issues are reported to the Finance Director and dealt with promptly

Team Focus

  • To build productive relationships with other members of the finance team and managers throughout the business
  • Where possible to help develop key individuals within the team to achieve their potential
