As we venture into the next phase of our growth, enabled by technology and one of the most experienced international payroll and expatriate tax teams in the world, we are delighted to be recruiting the brand-new role of Global Service Delivery Manager (HR Services) to drive and develop our newly launched HR Services service line.

The Opportunity

Launched in 2020, our Global HR Services function helps organisations protect, encourage and incentivise their most important asset – their people. Through our own activpayroll experts in our global locations, our trusted in-country global payroll partner network and outsourced 3rd party vendors, we support our customers with the full suite of HR service solutions, from employment law and contracts, to representation, planning and advisory, as well as HR projects and change programmes.

To help us drive this service line forward, we are now recruiting for a commercially driven service delivery manager, with a track record in business development and customer relationship management, to join our team at this next exciting stage of our growth. Once in role, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the provision of activpayroll’s Global HR Services offering to all appropriate customers globally, including:

  • Work with activpayroll’s customers and prospects to identify Global HR Services opportunities across the globe
  • Prepare and agree customer and country specific Global HR services workscopes
  • Prepare, negotiate and agree all commercial aspects of the Global HR services workscope on a customer by customer basis
  • Manage and deliver the Global HR services revenue and contribution to profit budget and all aspects of the invoicing process in relation to Global HR services in conjunction with activpayroll’s finance division
  • Coordinate and manage the implementation of Global HR services on a customer by customer basis to ensure successful onboarding of services
  • Manage the relationships between the customer and the ultimate deliverer of the Global HR services
  • Work closely with the activpayroll Global Mobility and Global Payroll teams to ensure a seamless cross discipline service offering to the customer
  • Where possible, deliver any country specific HR service requirement directly to the customer
  • Maintain and update where and when appropriate, activpayroll’s country specific Global HR services scope documents
  • Expand activpayroll’s Global HR services capabilities globally by identifying new suppliers and undertaking HR related due diligence as necessary
  • Creation and development of Global HR services expertise and experience internally where appropriate
  • Work closely with the activpayroll executive team and Board to develop and deliver the Global HR services growth strategy
  • Ensure that activpayroll continues to deliver a best in class service to all customers. This includes keeping up to date with Employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Manage all external Global HR services related relationships including in-country global payroll partners and all 3rd party vendors responsible for delivering Global HR services
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships, internally and externally to maximise successful delivery of all areas within your responsibility
  • Work closely with activpayroll’s business development and contracts and commercial personnel to promote Global HR Services to prospects and leads
  • Preparation and delivery of leads and revenue metrics and reports to executive team/board on a monthly basis.
  • Proactively review all systems and process within your area of responsibility to maximise business process efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Assume responsibility for internal training related to Global HR Services in order to maximise opportunities for activpayroll

The Right Fit

We are looking for a candidate who has a proven track record in developing new and existing business, ideally within the HR consulting arena, or from a service led organisation, with the tenacity and drive to manage the customer journey from prospect to customer, and the relationship management skills to be able to utilise our internal and external networks to deliver a best in class service.

  • Business Development and “closing skills” gained within a consultancy / service delivery environment
  • Excellent knowledge of HR specific challenges and opportunities (HR experience in addition to business development and service delivery skills a distinct advantage)
  • Working knowledge and understanding of global payroll would be an advantage
  • Project management / delivery experience, overseeing the delivery of the service and ensuring customer requirements are delivered on time, and to the highest standard
  • Must be commercially astute
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to build trusted relationships with our customers and resources network
