PRIMARY FUNCTION

To work within the Finance Team with the day-to-day processing and control of the accounting systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV) of the Global Partner payroll purchase invoices and the sales invoices of our Global Customers.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Principal Duties

  • Primary responsibility for all Customers' billing for the Global Payroll department
  • Primary responsibility for posting and distributing Global Partner invoices
  • Preparation of Global Partners statement reconciliations
  • Preparation of regular Global Partners payment runs
  • Assist in developing and implementing improvements to management reporting and accounting procedures
  • Liaising with Global Payroll Account Managers on all department finance issues as they arise
  • Preparation of ad hoc financial reports and special projects work as and when required
  • Perform ongoing credit control for all assigned accounts
  • Provide support and assistance to other Finance staff
  • Provide training and support to non-finance staff as required

Service Excellence

  • Responding efficiently to all queries from customers and Global Partners via telephone and email
  • Ensuring that all relevant issues are reported to the Group Finance Manager and dealt with promptly

  • Prioritisation of own workload on a daily basis
  • Regular communication with Finance team and other departments
  • Ensuring a safe working environment and raising any health and safety concerns immediately

Commercial Awareness

  • Multi-currency experience, a distinct advantage
  • Identifying any process improvement areas and highlighting these

Competencies

  • Experience of, and full understanding of Sales and Purchase ledgers
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good workload management, organising and prioritising tasks
  • Good written (e-mail) and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Enthusiastic, motivated & team focused
  • Ability to communicate financial issues to non-finance personnel
  • Good PC skills including sound working knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience of NAV would be an advantage but not essential
